LunchAndLearn - Eventbrite (5)

If you’ve been curious to learn about the benefits of CBD, please join us for an inspirational discussion with former NFL player, Dr. Herve Damas MD, owner of the Grassroots Wellness Center. We will discuss the endocannabinoid system and its role in helping the body achieve homeostasis, the different types of cannabinoids, how they work and especially how to incorporate non-psychoactive cannabidiol (CBD) into a daily health and wellness regimen.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Hervé Damas, MD is a former professional football player, professor, and wellness director who founded Grassroots Wellness Center in the Wynwood Arts District. Dr. Damas received allopathic training in general surgery and diagnostic radiology but now focus his energies on treating people with natural – plant-based and “alternative” methods at Grassroots Wellness Center. Dr. Damas is a well-known advocate for cannabis- currently serving on the board of directors of several nonprofits as well as serving as supervising physician on a study examining the effects of CBD on quality of life in former professional football and hockey players.
