Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
October 4, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm UTC-4

Center for Social Change, 5th Floor
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based 8-week program that teaches mindfulness meditation to improve your health and well-being. MBSR’s experiential approach provides training to increase your focus, concentration and awareness internally and externally, providing tools needed for living in the present moment with joy and health. All are welcome. No experience necessary.
Several decades of research have demonstrated that individuals who complete MBSR have improved physical, psychological, and behavioral outcomes. MBSR is for those who wish to better manage stress, maintain or increase their health and well-being, and learn mindfulness.

Weekly 2.5-hour sessions, plus a one-day retreat, will incorporate mindfulness practices and experiential learning.
All are welcome. No experience necessary.

The program is lead by Adriana Moreno-Zarate, MA, ERYT 500, a Qualified Teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She currently teaches MBSR in the community and with Mindful Kids Miami, and has been teaching yoga and meditation at University of Miami for over 13 years.
