This Org Toolkit on Housing Co-ops lead by Judith Turner will be divided into three main parts.

We will give an overview of what a co-op is, the types of co-ops, the seven co-op principles, and shared co-op values.

2. Housing Co-ops are Corporations Too!
We will examine the different types of housing co-ops, giving examples of local and national housing co-ops and how they contribute to affordable housing.

3. Introduction to Youth-Owned Cooperatives
We will define what a youth co-op is, how they are started and operated and examine examples of successful long-running business.

All sessions will be followed with a Q&A.
