The mission of Free Learning Association (FLA) is to provide free in-person lectures and workshops on the music industry and entrepreneurship. The goal is to provide information and resources to anyone looking to make their career in music, as well as for up and coming musicians. The lectures will be targeted to High School age students but are open to all. The emphasis will be on underserved communities who lack a strong music industry presence or opportunities.
Leadership: FLA was founded by a 30 year music industry veteran from New York who has worked in live music production, artist management, event promotion, and music journalism.
Goal: To organize lecture tours across the US and provide useful, practical, and actionable information to help attendees enhance their music career, find employment in the music industry, or start their own business.
